Learn More About Precision Chiropractic

Precision has been providing expert and holistic chiropractic care to Bedford, NH and beyond since 2021.

At Precision, our method is different. It’s not meant to be an overbearing electronic brochure for our practice. You will not find coupons for “free exams,” steak knives or anything of that sort. What you will experience is radical transparency about our practice and what we do. If you want to see if we’re a good fit for you, schedule a complimentary consultation where we will learn a little about you and you learn a little about us.

Dr. Alissa Dimos - DC, CACCP

Dr. Alissa Dimos, DC CACCP

Let’s start with the basics:  Dr. Alissa Dimos earned her Bachelor of Arts (yup not a Bachelors of Science) degree from Saint Anselm College back in 2004 after graduating as a biology major. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Life University in Marietta, GA and graduated with cum laude distinction.  She was also the recipient of the Life University’s Learning Theory/Critical Thinking core proficiency as elected by the faculty at the University.  Being analytical and meticulous about nuance is her thing.

Additionally, Dr. Dimos has completed hundreds of hours of specialty chiropractic training pertaining to caring for expecting mothers, infants, and pediatric patients.  She is a certified pediatric chiropractor (CACCP) with the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association (ICPA). She is one of only two certified pediatric chiropractors in the entire State of New Hampshire to hold a CACCP designation. In 2024 Dr. Dimos earned her perinatal certification through the ICPA as well (an additional 80 hours of training in this subject). Additionally, she is also a Webster Technique certified Doctor.  This technique is exclusively for pregnant women and offers great potential for optimal fetal positioning. Lastly, her contribution to furthering pediatric chiropractic research, resulted in one of her case studies being published in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health- Chiropractic

Dr. Dimos has been in private practice since 2010 caring for patients with a wide range of conditions.  She opened her own doors to Precision Chiropractic in February 2021 after being fed up with working in high-volume (and sometimes gimmicky) chiropractic offices.  Her vision for Precision was simple: hold the bar high and give the best care possible to her patients. She listens with attentiveness and a critical ear and treats each patient as their own person.  She has radical transparency about her business practices and procedures. She is especially passionate about general health and wellness as it relates to family wellness and pregnancy.

When she’s caring for her patients or running her business, she’s busy living life with her husband James and their two beautiful kids. Part of her hobbies include spinning, lifting weights, enjoying coffee and taking sporadic day trips (preferably to a beach) with her family and their Bernedoodle Myles.

Myles Odin

Sweet Myles is a Bernedoodle and Precision Chiropractic’s brand ambassador. He will be accompanying Dr. Dimos at the office periodically and will be ready to greet you with a wagging tail, smiles (yes, he smiles), and kisses.

He is a hypoallergenic dog, meaning his soft and non-shedding coat is very friendly to those of you who may be allergic to dogs.

Myles will be undergoing lots of training to have “good manners” while at work. In the meantime this furry team member is available to help brighten your day, or take a nap around the office…hey, it’s a dog’s life.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are designated as an out-of-network provider for all major insurance companies. This allows us to give 1 on 1 care that is focused on you.

You can submit for reimbursement from your insurance company after each office visit - we supply you with the necessary paperwork.

  • Absolutely! As mentioned above, we are designated as an out of network provider per your insurance company. Although we do not directly bill your insurance company, you can submit for reimbursement after each session with the paperwork we provide to you if you choose to.

  • You should call the toll free phone number on the back of your card. If going through an automated system, be sure to select “medical benefits” before you get a representative. Simply ask what your policy may or may not allow for out-of-network chiropractic services. If you need more help, please reach out.

  • The answer to this question varies but we can give you up front estimates of services:

Examinations range from $100-$200 dollars for adults depending on your case and what is clinically necessary.

Examinations for pediatric patients range from $75-$150. Thereafter, office visit fees are $65 for adults and $45 for pediatric patients.

Families with multiple members under care are eligible for discounts. Additionally, packages and monthly memberships are optional and offer discounts as well.

If you are a patient that needs spinal remodeling, this is part of your office visit fee. We never charge extra for services that are additional to help you get the results you need.

  • With Jane booking is easy! If you’re not an existing patient, you need to schedule a “complimentary consultation” on our online booking site. There’s a button on the bottom of this page that says “Schedule Now” that will take you there.

  • Quite simply, yes. This is to uphold our cancellation policy for our online booking feature. Additionally, you never need to stop at the front desk after each visit to pay. It’s secure and convenient.

  • Your appointment time is always reserved just for you.

A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the Doctors day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.

Patients who cancel last minute (within 3 hours of their scheduled time) or miss their scheduled appointment without notice will be billed. Any appointment longer than 30 minutes that is cancelled last minute or missed will be billed at $100. Missed office visits without notice will be billed at $50.

A patient who does not show up for a scheduled appointment will be expected to pay the cancellation fee as well as their next office visit fee in full, in advance, in order to reschedule it to another date.

We do take into consideration exceptions for situations such as sudden illness, inclement weather, extenuating circumstances or emergencies. Also, reminder email messages, texts or calls are a courtesy.

  • Adult examinations take about 60-90 minutes depending on the patient and the complexity of their case.

Pediatric examinations take about 45-60 minutes depending on the patient and the complexity of their case.

Re-examinations are about 30-45 minutes for both adults and pediatric patients.

Office visits are scheduled as 15 minute appointments. If Dr. Dimos needs more time with you she will tell you and book accordingly.

  • Precision Chiropractic is conveniently located just off of I-293 in the “Coldstream Park” right on S. River Rd., Bedford, NH. (The business park directly across the street from the Whole Foods / Trader Joe’s plaza.)

We are on the same side of the road as the Purple Finch. (Very often times, cars make a U-turn in our parking lot to get to Purple Finch and other businesses in that plaza.)

We are the yellow “Carriage house” which is partially attached to the main “Woodbury house” in the development. (You can’t miss the Woodbury house, it’s huge and also yellow and stands in the center of Coldstream park.)

We are building F and have a “Precision Chiropractic” sign right outside of our entrance with parking directly in front of our office.

  • Most adults typically will experience some minimal soreness following an adjustment. It’s similar in comparison to a “post-workout” sensation. Drinking lots of water can help to flush it out of your system quicker (if you even get sore at all.)

Most infants post adjustment will either take a longer nap/sleep longer at night and/or have a supplemental bowel movement.

Most kids/pediatrics have nothing to report in terms of soreness or discomfort. Often times we hear that they feel “lighter” and can “move better” right after their adjustment.

  • As of this moment, we are not accepting new Medicare eligible patients.
